The first week of school is already over, and it was SO weird being back after being away for so long. BUT, it was also so so nice to feel like life is sorta normal again, even if everyones walking around in masks. π I can already tell my classes this semester are going to be keeping me pretty busy, but the classes I’m most excited for is probably international law or international management.
I had the most embarrassing moment though in my online french class this week. We had to share our favorite monument, so I said versailles, and at the time I didn’t understand what my teacher had asked me, so I just said “oui” and come to find out she asked me if I was born in France!! When I found out I was traumatized, and I emailed the teacher right after class correcting myself and letting her know I was born in Twin Falls, Idaho (the farthest thing from France) and she informed me that the question was actually what was your favorite monument in your HOME country. π€¦ββοΈ Guess I shouldn’t have taken the entire summer off when it came to practicing my french…
So today was my first time ever trying to take my blog pictures by myself IN public. So sorry that they’re not my best photos ever… π I decided the community garden was probably a pretty good private spot to try, so I got up early (on a Saturday π―) and went to take some photos. Well it was going pretty well till one of the gardens care takers showed up and started talking to me and I was too uncomfy having someone there watching me so I left to try another spot. The other spot was a bust, so I got a bagel and then went back to try the garden again. And this time the guy was gone so I actually managed to get a few decent shots.
As you can tell I switched shoes half way through this shoot, but I loved both pairs with the dress so I figured might as well do both. This dress was a clearance find from American Eagle (where I never shop), but I fell in love with it! The heels are from Soludos, and the sneakers are Steve Madden. This cute pink purse that did not get it’s time to shine this summer is from Target.
That’s all for this Do It Yourself blog post! Thanks for reading and see ya next time.
xoxo, kenn
